About the Course Text:
The book is “Attaining Related Meanings of the Qur’an” by al-Hakim al-Tirmidhi (d. 317 AH), a great theologian, Qur’anic exegete, hadith master, and giant of Islamic spirituality. The author shows essentials meanings of key Qur’anic terms—and related expressions that bring out shades and nuances of meaning and guidance. He also closely examines how many times each word is mentioned in the Qur’an, and explains the significance of context.
